    Ayisi is a Managing Partner and CEO of Fanisi Capital Ltd.

    He has accumulated extensive management experience and operational knowledge on African Markets. Ayisi co-founded Africa Online Holdings Ltd. and served as its Chief Executive Officer. He has been a Director of Kenya Airways Ltd. since August 2005.

    Ayisi has been voted among the leading top 15 CEOs in East Africa, three years in a row, in the Annual PwC - Nation Media Group survey of the top Chief Executive Officer's in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda.

    Previously he served as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of African Management Services Company, Managing Partner of Gallium Partners Investments and Non-Executive Chairman of MCI/UUNET Africa, Non-Executive Director of Barclays Bank of Kenya Ltd. since June 26, 2002 and Non-Executive Director of African Lakes Corporation Plc until October 18, 2002.

    He holds a Bsc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).



    Tony is a Managing Partner at Fanisi Capital Ltd.

    He was formerly the first Chief Executive Officer of TransCentury Limited, a Pan-African Investment Company based in Nairobi, Kenya. In addition to developing a management team, and establishing the operations and systems of the investment company from inception, Tony led in the structuring, negotiation and acquisition of several private equity investments in East, Central and South Africa.

    Prior to this he was the Chief Executive Officer of ICDC Investment Co. Ltd, now Centum, where he led the privatisation of the company's management structure after 32 years of management by the parent state corporation. Tony built the management team and established the operations and systems of the Investment company from inception. At ICDCI his mandate included the overall management of an equity portfolio of over 40 companies, the origination and execution of Private Equity Investments and representing ICDCI on the boards of several portfolio companies.

    He was previously a management consultant at PwC in the economics division and Vice-President Regional Corporate Finance at Citibank Kenya.

    He holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Georgetown University and a BSc in Agricultural Economics from Wye College (now merged with Imperial College), University of London.

    Tony is also the Chairman of Origins IGA, an advisory firm that incubates and provides customised Advisory and Management Services to investment groups in East Africa.



    He has broad operational & management experience in Sales, Distribution & Marketing having worked in both Local & Multinational businesses in a number of countries.

    Before joining Fanisi, he served as Commercial Director at Sidai Africa (part of Farm Africa UK) where he was responsible for helping re-engineer the business’s franchising model as well as launching its own range of Sidai Branded Agricultural Inputs.

    Prior to Sidai, Martin had a long stint at Unilever where he joined as a Management Trainee in 2002 and rose up to Director Level in 2011 – first as Country Director responsible for Unilever in Tanzania and later as the Sales & Customer Development Director for the Kenyan Business.

    In between his Unilever Stint, Martin had a 2 year sabbatical break where he worked in Category Management at HJ Heinz Australia (2008-9).

    In the formative stages of his career (1999- 2002), he had worked at Lowe Scanad Advertising, Spin-Knit Dairies (Tuzo) and Diageo (EABL). He is a Bsc. Agribusiness Management graduate from Egerton University.



    Ceasar is an Investment Manager at Fanisi Capital.

    Prior to joining Fanisi, he worked as a financial analyst at Seven Seas Technology Group where he has responsible for contributing to the company's expansion into new markets with supporting business plans, budgeting for all group companies, management of fund raising and the management of investors and board relations.

    Before that, he worked for Nautilus Capital, a boutique Financial Advisory firm that specialized in corporate finance. At Nautilus he helped companies discover their growth funding needs and run the fund raising process which includes generating business plans with a supporting financial models, discovering the optimal funding structures and supporting in the closure of transactions.

    He holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and is a member of ACCA. He is currently pursuing level 2 of the CFA qualification.



    Asif is an Investment Associate responsible for market research, deal sourcing, deal making and post investment portfolio management.

    He previously worked at Prime Bank, where he was responsible for corporate salary payments, including training clients on the bank payment system installed on client sites.

    He started his career as an accountant, working for an accounting and auditing firm in London, and as a part time lecturer of accounting and tax modules of the ACCA qualification.

    He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, and is a member of ACCA. He is currently a candidate in Level 3 of the CFA qualification.



    George is the Chief Finance Officer at Fanisi Capital Ltd.

    He is in charge of Fund administration, reporting to investors, support and enhancement of portfolio management, fund management and settlement functionalities.

    George worked as a Senior Accountant at Canon Assurance where he was responsible for preparing management accounts, financial reports and ensuring statutory filings.

    Prior to that, he was a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young (E&Y) working as the audit lead in various assignments in the Financial Sector and Private Equity.

    He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from United States International University- Africa (USIU) and a Bachelor of commerce degree from The University of Nairobi. He is a qualified CPA (Kenya) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
